Art Meets Design
An image is worth a thousand words
The following work represents my exploration of visual storytelling within the fields of illustration, industrial design, and fine arts. The images capture various stages of my creative journeys and convey diverse stories, both emotional and functional, with drawing as the common thread.
A colourful quarantine
COVID quarantine was a difficult time for a lot of people, myself included. Everything appeared gloomy and dark. I started experimenting with self-portraits and vibrant colours as a way to find a glimmer of light during a period of isolation and separation.

Craft
During my exchange in Norway, I discovered the art of craft in various disciplines - particularly Shibari, a Japanese art form that explores "the beauty of tight binding". Fascinated, I explored the play of tension, shapes, and objects through a series of illustrations.

The Narrative of Products
During my studies at OCAD University, I learned the power of illustration in communicating the narrative of objects. By exploring with lines, colours, and shading, I found a way to  communicate my product designs to others through industrial design drawings.

Artistic Exploration
The following work were my first academic explorations on storytelling through drawing and paintings. They explore the topics of over consumption, childhood memories, and skills refinement.
